my eldest girl came into season late Jan she is usually a 7m season girl, in  May  my other girl came in and the eldest decided to come in again .. :( so I didnt expect a season until November.ish , now my boy is sniffing my eldest girl and doing his best to hump her I am keeping them seperate unless they are all sitting in the room with me... she is slightly swollen but no discharge she is head scratching which she does during a season weird but vet saids it hormones.. she is fine playing eating etc so doesnt seem to have an infection ... (I know boys can get confused by this) I am thinking she is having a silent season or slowly coming in its been about 10 days... oh why cant it be straight forward... :(

I've got a bitch just started to swell only a few days ago.  One of my boys was demented for 24 hours (not experienced) but all has settled down now.  The swelling is still there, but no discharge, not even a clear one.  I think I'm looking at a silent season too.  How I hate them.

i have 3 girls and 2 entire males youngest boy is now just over 2 year still does not take much intrest in the girl bits (he was used 8 months ago on my own girl). I always know about a month or so before the older girls are coming in youngest girl only goes 6 months, older 2 girls come in together about every 8 months, but about a month before we have a little bit of swelling and the old boy who is experiances turns into a git, usually after they have eaten or have been let out in the garden or gone for a walk as soon as hes back in the house he is up their backsides and sometimes trying to hump a quick off and he gives up and they will happily settle down, We have this for about a week, then nothing for about 2 weeks then about a week before we actually see colour he starts up again as soon as we see colour hes off on his holiday as he does not cope well with being seperated (he stays with my parents where he is spoilt rotten). The first time this happened i though my girls were having silent seasons now its just become part of the routine.

thanks for that info... although he is 2y I am still not used to having boys always had girl beardies..

Everything seems to have cooled off a bit .. but not leaving them alone  as he occasionally wants to sniff her and keeps humping my leg, will have to wait and see what happens.
