What would people expect to pay for a French bulldog puppy from a top class, reputable breeder? Presumably not the £8,000 being asked by Harrods at the moment! These puppies will not be from reputable breeders though and certainly not caring ones!

I've seen one online being advertised at 5K... said to be the first Purple Lilac in the UK. Looks like a lilac sable to me, no idea why they've called it purple unless they're colourblind, or won't take their rose tinted specs off.

I don't know about frenchies but if i were to buy a top dog from a top kennel with health tests, show/ working wins, I'd expect to pay between £1800 -£2000. Bulldogs tend to be more pricy than my breed but I'd only ever pay £2000 maximum for any dog.

You would be out of luck in Harrods then as puppies there are at least £2,500. Who would pay £8,000 for a puppy farm pup? Presumably some people are that stupid or Harrods wouldn't ask that extortionate price!
