Just a quick one. How does entering online effect the kennel club rules about calculating wins up until 7 days prior to postal closures?

Not at all, the wins still count to 7 days before postal entry closing.

So if you win out after the postal entry has closed, you can still enter the lower class online?

In theory yes but why enter a class that you know you are over qualified for!!??

Because your not, (overqualified at that point) as it's to the 7 days before entries close, you may want to enter more than one class for JW poins, or have more than one dog and the lower class will allow you to etc.

There may be a big winner, or one that often beats you, in the next class you'd prefer to avoid in the classes, as some judges fail to call second in for the challenge for RCC.

Or you may have a young exhibit that still looks out of place in the higher class (or is out of coat).
