Hi all - been a while since we had a litter ( last one 2011) and last time we yeses vaginoscopy to determin when to mate.
This time, the stud is much further - in Ireland - so the stud has told us to do bloods.

Please can some one tell me the best and fastest way for me to get the kit from Idex -? Do I then have to get my vet to take blood and send it to them?

Only your vet can take the bloods, you don't need to get the kit as the vet should be able to do so or ahve wghat is needed.

The issue is turnaround time, so you need the bloods to be taken in teh morning and sent guaranteed 1 day delivery, and then ring Idexx or get Vet to ring, next afternoon for the results.

Avoid taking bloods on a Friday/Saturday as weknd post will interfere.

Thanks Brainless - my vet isn't keen on bloods, he does vaginoscopy - which worked well in the past when bloods didn't ( they were spun at a different surgery)

u can get everything from Idexx just have to go to the vets to take the bloods. If u phoned Idexx tomorrow shd. get in a couple of days.
