I've used baby oil to clean my dog's ears. Worked far better than the usual ear cleaner :-) I usually apply it on cotton wool pads then wipe it out again :-)
Thornit instructions say
"NOT to clean the wax out, but to apply a little on the end of a spoon to the inner ear, but not the ear hole, twice a day for 1- 5 days. Once the wax starts to move - stop. The wax will come away pushing out the powder and leaving a clean ear.
A pinch of Thornit in the ear once a week will keep the ears clean."
I've treated the dog's feet at the same time, as scratching the ears can mean that the feet can be affected too.
