I'd like a large wheeled all terrain type dog buggy, initially for a new pup I'm getting so he doesn't have to miss out on long walks and then I can probably also use it for my elderly arthritic collie. I don't suppose anyone has one they'd like to sell?

I'd like one too ! I'm having to leave oldies behind when we go for really long walks. They can only manage about half the distance before struggling. I'd be willing to pay a lot of money for such a buggy -especially if it came with two seats.

You can buy them, they're horribly expensive, I was hoping someone might have a second hand one :-)

Look on e bay/ gumtree/freecycle/classifieds/ charity shops /boot sales. Perhaps even ask around vets or rescue centres. These are the sort of things given to them for fetes etc. Be a lot cheaper to buy second hand. Is there anyway you could modify or adapt a childs pram or large dolls pram?

I won a pram on eBay for £25. It has the carrycot pram which detaches and you can clip on the seat to make like a push chair. My intention was to put my old 14 1/2 yr westie in it as he can't walk far but always wants to come out. When I went to collect I was amazed, it was so clean and new looking, a lovely pram and I just can't bring myself to put him in it! So its sat in my garage all covered up and no use!
My husband thought I was totally mad but it was far cheaper than a proper doggy pram ......except I don't use it.
If you go for a child's pram, pick an old tatty one.
