Can anyone tell me if the rules have changed for taking an underage puppy to shows?  I know that when it came it allowed pups of 4 - 6 months to be entered not for competition at Single breed shows (and I think perhaps single groups, not sure?) but was told last weekend this had changed and pups from 4 months can now be entered NFC at All Breed shows, including Ch ones?

I don't know the definitive answer Gwen, but at Leeds I definately saw very young puppies. Perhaps 14 or so weeks old. Maybe they were ''Spectator dogs''.

Puppies 4 months to six months can be entered NFC only at single breed or sub group shows if the show committee is willing to accept them.

Spectator dogs can be admitted, but at Champship Show level the show has to have permission from the KC General Committee before the show

Thank for that.

Dawn it was about Leeds that I was wondering, as someone told me they had taken their 4 month old puppy, which I found shocking :(

Not feeling too bright today, does this mean that Ch shows have to have KC permission for Spectator dogs before the show, and that encompasses pups with exhibitors, or is it that General Ch shows can accept NFC entries from Pups, if the show has prior permission?
