I need to get a 30th birthday present for my nephew whom is turning 30. I have not seen him in over 5 years and know nothing about him. He still lives at home with mum and dad. I am tempted to buy him a suitcase but I am not sure he would appreciate the 'humour' intended !! Any idea's?

Hahaha ,is he Italian  ? The typical male here   lives at home until  he's thirty with his mama..we call them mamone.
What about something techno.. A new phone,a CD player or if you want lot spend less a cd...or a voucher.

If you don't know too much at least you wont be expected to do too much either ;)
I have 2 of a similar age 1 still at home says he cant afford to leave!
A suitcase is brilliant idea............I would. It is too hard to guess if you don't know anything about him without getting some info on hobbies or interests.
My 2 are so different apart from food there is little in there tastes or ideas generally that are the same.

:-D :-D What are you like, it would make me laugh, but.......I wouldn't buy him a suitcase, he might not have a sense of humour :-) and if he already has a nice one or two, what will he do with yours?

There are a lot of websites which do hampers for males, they have all kinds of things in them, I've used them a few times when I don't know people that well, worth looking at. ;-) Everything is already beautifully wrapped and you have the choice of delivery too.

Failing that, aftershave, electric razor, T-Shirt with 30 on it and some booze.........

a voucher for a hot shave with a cut throat razor? my other half swears by them, says they are initially very scary (in a fun way) and then very relaxing. Nice for men to get pampered but in a slightly terrifying way that satisfies the "grr, am man!" urges :)

Thanks for the idea's :) I knew you would not let me down. Found a photo of him when he was about 4 in a cowboy suit complete with sheriffs badge and pistol. Now the question is ... shall I or shan't I? <g>

I hope you found something suitable, I couldn't even come up with shaving suggestions as I said about my two being different one is bearded..........
