Does any one know if the alizin injection just one injection or is it a course that has to be done over a few days?

Thats good to know. Gson let daughters dog in with her bitch in season. They were alone for 10 minutes or so. Daughter doesn't know if anything happened but obviously dont want to take chances. I had planned to take her to vet on Friday but if it takes 2 injections then will take her when we can get there 2 consecutive days. Season has just finished so we have time to organise it.

We used it on one of our bitches after a mismating - whether or not it affected her afterwards, I'm not sure, but we are having the devil of a job to get her in whelp now we would like to.     She was only 10 months old when we injected her: in hindsight we should have waited until she had a positive scan, and then injected if necessary.

I used it when one of my bitches broke a gate and mated with her son. The next season I mated her and she had 9 puppies, all normal. She even only had the one single mating for the planned litter.

I used it on one of my girls and her seasons have not been the same since, we blood tested on her last 2 seasons and she did not ovulate. Don't know if it was that for sure but wish I had waited and scanned also.
