Am I correct in thinking that you can enter any stakes class at a Champ show as a 1st entry and don't have to enter your breed classes? Only reason being the dog is not the breed judges type but a Jnr handler wants it at the show to compete in a handling class as a first priority.

That only applies if the dog is a Veteran or champion, or a puppy if no puppy class is scheduled in the breed.

Have found answer, also includes at Richmond apart from Champ and Veteran, any Sponsored stakes which includes the one I wanted to enter
