My girl is really starting to go bald in places, she has never lost her coat like this before and there is no let up.
I'm grooming her daily and she's now getting regular baths to get the coat out, it just appears to be never ending!

I'm sticking tripe and evening primrose oil capsules and so far I'm not noticing any difference.

Is anyone else having this major moult too?
Any ideas on getting her luscious coat back sooner rather than later?

Mr Dyson is working very hard at the moment and I think he needs a break ;-)

Yes we have a couple like this with bald patches even. I find Yumega helps to speed it up.

Yumega do Boost & Show Dog now which may be worth thinking about too.

Royal Jelly is also a good addition to the diet for coat.  And if you can be bothered washing her frequently, Quistel is worth trying too.

I've had a Rottie and boy can they shed....however,I've not had the bald spots....so this makes  me think it could be worth a vet visit.
Re major shedding.........This happened to my dog (st poo) just a couple of months ago....she was losing a lot of coat ,which is unusual for my breed and then I noticed bald patches on her front and at the elbows....we tested her blood for thyroid levels and she was really hypothyroid.....she has been prescribed euthyrin, and a month later I am already seeing new hair re growing. She is also more lively,she was becoming very lethargic too.
Low thyroid also shows itself in  even loss of hair on the sides ,flanks, of the dog...hope this helps.

She doesn't hae bald patches its that she o me looks it because of the lack of fur, I really don't think I have anything to worry about on that front.

I was considering it the food as never been a fan of RC but purchased a few bags on sale in my local pet shop(good price)...
I'm going to try the Yumega show oil, I'm sure that and possibly royal jelly will be on sale at Windsor :-)

Just seen this thread. My 11 year old BC is having the moult of a lifetime. We've had to replace the dyson filter twice and it is emptied daily. She seemed to grow an enormous coat this year but she's gonna be bald if this continues.

Went to the Yumega stand as they recommended Boost. They said should take 8 weeks for coat to come back with that, me thinking prob take that without paying them £20!
Picked up some royal jelly for £7, so trying that for now.

I've got a Leo that has lost ALL her undercoat, so much so you can see her skin under her top coat, came off in bucket loads so I know what you mean they look bald!  My boy lost his a couple of months ago but its already coming back :)

I used boost and yumega after my bitch had her litter and had lots of bald patches, all her coat came back quickly, could be a coincidence but worth a try.

Just bathed and blasted the Bernese boy and he is looking the same as our girls!!

I'm more than convinced its the food, just don't think ill ever be buying RC again.. Never liked it and this has sealed the deal with both dogs never having a moult like it!

Coconut oil. 1/2 tsp twice a day. Organic virgin cocounut oil. It will really help the coat grow back quickly and generally seems to aid vitaility.

Funny Sue I ws going to suggest the food rembering that you had recently bought something different. Can you feed just raw for a while ?
