Hi, check this web site, you can click on the UK flag in top right corner for translation, have you ever shown in France before? Its quite an experience, and everyone is very friendly. If you havent, I can give you some info on the do's and dont's!! Nevers is north west of me, if I was going from the UK I would go LD lines, Portsmouth Le Havre, but depends where in the UK you are, the tunnel might be better for you. Also don't forget that you will have to book hotels as the drive from Calais is nearly 5 hours. Eurotunnel is in my opinion the best way to travel with dogs and if you have a Tesco clubcard you can use them towards your fare. Dogs travel in the car with you and the journey only takes 35 mins whereas the journey time on the ferry is 1hr 30. Also you 'lose' an hour as soon as you get over here (UK is an hour behind France). The shows over here are strange in comparison to UK but I have always found the atmosphere to be friendly.
