I'm wondering if the 8:30am start to judging has effected my breed. We have a reasonably low entry (59) for such a central show!

It is a very early start, isn't it! We're not first in the ring and have a fantastic entry for a non CC show -9. That to me proves it's all a combination of using a breed specialist judge and having a good location that the majority of exhibitors can get to easily. We had tickets at SKC  and Bath and both of those only got 3 entries each! Southern Counties without 2, Blackpool without 4, Windsor without ZERO. It's time shows started to pay attention to what works and what doesn't.

Let me know the breed and I will look up when you are in the ring.

Sorry that I don't know.

Miniature schnauzers, we're first in the ring, followed by our larger cousins. To put it into perspective we have an entry of 34 at Windsor without tickets! We'd normally have an entry between 75-100 for a show with tickets.

Perhaps the judge is not liked or people remember how very wet it was last year. for us anything over 20 is wonderful.

There is no unentered dogs tent it says in the schedule. Doesn't say anything about spectator dogs but does say no animal not entered in the show is allowed.

Yes you can pay to take a dog in. From what I remember its the same price as if they had been entered nfc!

It says quite clearly that unentered dogs will not be allowed in and no unentered dogs tent.

Have gone through the schedule and it doesn't mention visitor dogs being allowed either.

Schedules for other shows do mention this facility.

Best to ring the secretariat think Tel: 01733 234451

woooo....8.30 start on a Sunday morning, plus a 3 hour drive down, all in the hope of a piece of cardboard. Not mad at all :-)
