Sorry for the graphic title! I have a soon to be 11 year old entire male, who had a severe immune/blood disorder when he was approx 15 months. I mention this as he was 'leaky' when he got poorly, but this time not showing any signs of the blood disorder which could rear it's head at any time
He is the only male in my house, has been for several years, but I have three other females (also entire). He has never been used & at this age he won't be castrated unless absolutely necessary. During his lifetime since getting better to now he has never had a leaky/drippy willy when any of the girls are in season. I have noticed that this time they're in season he is losing what looks very much like urine as opposed to semenal fluid, I'm now wondering whether I just haven't noticed it before or whether he has a problem, and that with the girls being in season has made it much more noticeable. Or if due to his age he is suffering from slight incontinence
When the girls are not in season he is as dry as a bone, and in every way is very fit, happy and pain free for his age, so I'm inclined at present to wait till the girls have finished their seasons to see if he reverts back to normal. So, I guess I'm asking if any of you that have entire male & females in one household have noticed this with your males, and whether it's something I just haven't noticed before or if it's an indication of problems down-below and I should be taking him to the vets asap
Thankyou, oddly enough this morning I haven't seen any dripping, will keep a close eye on him, and have a word with my vet
