A couple of years ago there was a dog show within the Ashby show.

The shows usually around 14th July but I can't find any info on the dog show.

There's a Companion show advertised, but I'm sure the other one was probably an open show ran by a dog club/society.

Does anyone have any details?

I contacted the show but the only information they gave me was for the companion show and I'm sure the one I'm interested in was ran seperately by a dog club/canine society.

As far as I remember its always been the companion show, we used to attend

The reason I thought it was probably an open show is 11 years ago the breeder of my puppy at the time was showing there and came all the way from Aylesbury and there were lots of different breed classes.

Maybe I'm wrong then......

There was an open show at Ashby as part of the agricultural show, but it finished some time ago if I remember rightly.  We used to exhibit there.
