Thoughts must go out to the family and friends of the poor young man so savagely attacked and killed in Woolwich. Rest in Peace you poor young boy.

One of the most horrendous crimes that has ever happened on our shores.

Awful, just awful.

Indeed thoughts of compassion to the young man's family and to his fellow servicemen, and the bystanders who must be marked for the extent of their life. And perhaps a thought to the families of the two young men who caused all this sadness, stupid and lacking in intelligence they may be but preyed upon by others who only have interest in they own political ends and resort to mind bending through various forms of media, picking on those who are unable to think for themselves. This does no one any good and I would be surprised if it stops here some equally unthinking people will retaliate unfortunately.

What a horrific thing to have happened, thoughts with all who are connected to this.
I feel that the news coverage has been far too graphic, we know that a poor man was killed but why did they keep having to show his body, this demonstrated no respect for him or his family and showing the suspects giving their message gave them uneccessary publicity. However the lady who stood keeping one talking showed amazing courage.

As for the report that soliders have been told not to wear their uniforms in public today- unbelievable.

Absolutely sickening. That poor boy's family.

One can only hope that the assorted EDL bigots that showed up last night also show some respect, instead of using this event as a convenient hook for their own violent urges.

Thoughts go out to the poor guys family.

I for one am glad the two attackers were not shot and killed. Thats what they wanted - to go off to meet Allah and the virgin women.

Such courage was shown by the women who tried to keep the men calm and went to show respect and pray for the man who lay dead.

A very complicated situation which will no doubt bring repercussions. Dont want to get into the politics of it but the EDL really arent helping the police to do their job by causing mini riots and throwing bricks etc at the police :-(  which infuriates me.

My boy joined the army at not quite 17 yrs of age, he then served near 6 years, he always said the most dangerous time was when the guys left their base (in this country) for a night out.

Drummer Lee Rugby
RIP young man.
Voice should not be given to the 'people' that did this to you.
They deserve no credence.
You wore your 'Help for heroes' shirt with pride and many will continue to do so.

Thoughts and love to your family
xx
