I beleive that is an unrecognised breed in the UK, not even on the import register.

It is a large flock guard, very suspicious of strangers and not a breed of dog for our densely populated shores.  I have met them in Poland (they are an East Russian breed), but even their fans say they are a highly suspicious breed that will bite first and ask questions after.

I think a breed rescue like that for Anatolians might be more likely to find the right kind of owner if they were willing to help.

Your best bet would be contacting a breeder and see if they can help find it a sutible home.

There is very unlikely to be a breeder here in UK, chances are the dog was brought here from abroad.

My guess is that she currently belongs to someone in the forces who has imported her. It doesn't sound like she'll be easy to home

Thank you I have found someone in the breed and sent the link maybe they can suggest a better way of rehomming for the owner of this dog. I fear this dog getting in the wrong hands with lack of understanding of the breed and its requirements which may manifest into another tragedy.

If you get no joy from the breeder, you could always get in contact with the seller, from the advert they sound pretty responsible, and under no illusions that she could be a liability in the wrong hands, but they may not be aware as to how devious some people can be to get a dog of a certain type.

They have been bred in the UK since the DDA banned breeds came into force.
This one is highly unlikely to be an import as they normally have their ears cut off
