Haven't used one but it looks a bit of a fiddle to me, I don't suppose the fluid would last long with 3 Labs.
Not the same I know, but one of the worst products I ever bought regarding poo was a so-called dog loo that you buried in the garden, then added enzymes to the dog poos you put in it. We had 3 dogs at the time too. Complete failure!

I have enough trouble putting Dyson together!! I had a dog loo too ;) useless thing might be ok for a couple of small dogs but otherwise......

In the garden I just use a dustpan and brush and flush everything down the loo. It's easy to use and as I flush the loo I clean the dustpan and brush at the same time with bleach. I also had one of those dog loo's yrs ago, a complete waste of time and energy. I went back to flushing everything down the loo. I don't use the dustpan and brush for anything else by the way lol.

I use a long handled tool designed for horses, works well no problems the collection is put in a lidded nappy sack lined with a plastic bag and then disposed of when the job is done.

We had that too Esme, hilarious it was, once installed it filled up with water and the poo just floated! We removed a shed a few weeks ago and found the loo underneath it still full of water (but no poo) builders are filling that whole area in now but it gave us a laugh, a real blast from the past. It must be nearly 20 years old!
I like the idea it sanitising the grass as this is where our dogs go, but I use a metal dustpan lookalike with a long handle that I got from a dog show it came with a pusher this is to push the poo on, I can't remember what it is called but it is well worth the money.

I'll bet, we had ours at our last house and we've been here for 25 years! Wonder if our old house's next owners ever found it :-D

Just hope it had all drained away!!!!!

I reckon dog loos could go on a list of all-time most useless inventions!

Hear hear !

Ditto. When we moved I had to dig the redundant dog loo up, was a waste of space.
With 10 dogs who probably poo 3 times a day a bag would quickly get filled up with this gadget and there is still a bit of bending over. If they made it bigger with a longer handle I would consider it especially as it sanitizes as well but at present use the long handled poop scoop from Splendid Pets.

Another idiot here who bought one. I would have needed 3 ton of enzymes to break up the amount of poo that I get here. I am so gullible!
Ha ha, remember them well! Glad we decided not to bother and only had a couple of dogs back then!

I seriously considered one, but was dubious about how quickly waste could degrade and the amount of 'digester' we'd go through. Then I found Champdogs and the comments about them and was sved from getting involved in a huge waste of time and money :-D
We bagged poos for a long time, but when we had our third puppy, decided that down the toilet was the best way to go. Followed by a good clean of the dustpan, specially bought for the purpose, and a dash of bleach in the toilet, it seems to be working :)

We got a dog loo years ago, they seemed like such a good idea at the time! This thread has made me remember that we left it in the garden of our last house which we left over twenty years ago. I will add that we had given up using it for some time, so hopefully when the new owners did find it, that it wasn't too yucky for them.
I have visions of a "time team of the future" doing a dig and finding a dog loo. I wonder what the comments might be?
I think we have well and truly established that a dog loo is not worth having but has anyone tried the gadget posted about. If it works I would like one. Comments?
Gosh, seems a bit of a faff to me. I put my doggie's poo (5 x medium breed) into the bin. After all that's where the council doggy waste bin contents are also put!
I do quite like the idea of this though ...
http://www.doggybog.com/Seems very sensible, and the name appeals to me ;-) Basically just a pipe connected into your soil pipe and that's where you put your dog poo. Goes same place as your own :-o
The dog poo here goes down the manhole into the main sewer I put it in bucket with disenfectant and empty daily Have two buckets for the two areas thw dogs use

Looks like no-one on here's tried one. You could read the reviews on the link the OP provided, then see if you believe them. You could also try Amazon and look at
the reviews on there. I usually do tend to believe the Amazon reviews, as long as there's a few of them.
