Why do the soap writers think dragging out a killer being caught is a good storyline. Totally fed up with Corrie doing it, twice now, emmerdale doing it and no doubt eastenders will have to have another one soon as Ben got caught last year.
Can't they just for once have the murderer arrested within 24hrs or at least get decent detectives to solve the murder!
Sorry very trivial post but was fed up after watching the soaps tonight, won't make me stop watching though - its my time out.

I agree with you I have been known to forget that the person did murder someone and when it has happened twice in the same street, no hang on I think this is the fourth, it does make it difficult to take it even as a drama the whole thing is laughable. Mind you nothing beats the lady on Neighbours who managed to give birth with her tights on.

Yes I remember that, think I was expecting at the time too!
I really thought Karl was going to admit it properly and he could be got rid of, awful character.

Soap script writers only have a certain group of subjects then can write about and viewing figures prove death and tragedy get the desired results.

I agree Carl and Cameron are not likable and the story lines are quite frankly rubbish. As for Enders they need to really seriously think about sacking the script writers. Two weeks of gang things going on then the Sharon , Phil stuff yawn.

However the brain tumour story on Emmerdale  is I think quite well scripted.

Sharon Karl Cameron & that Max's wife need to go.

Emmerdale caused a tear at the wedding, Jenny & Brenda realistic acting and realistic tears - unlike Dev!!

Thanks for that!  :-)

You have had me laughing hysterically here, and I've never watched Neighbours.

Haven't watched tonight's episodes yet. The actor who plays Dev needs killing off big time. And sorry to say so do the children they are awful.

Well I was just thinking about Eastenders tonight...
Michael has sired Tommy and Scarlett to different mothers.
Max can't seem to put anything on the end of 'it', if we believe Duckface is preggers (again), and he already has 3 kids.
Jack has hundreds of children and also Amy, plus the one that died.
Ian has a raft of kids all by different wives.
I'm sure there are more, but it's getting to be a very closed gene pool in the Square!

Ok, I missed this weeks episodes so dont know whats going on, but a huge question I have wondered as I miss alot
Cameron. He burnt alive the fit  guy with the strong jaw in the box van victorias other half. What happened with that??? As I never saw anything after (must have had a busy few weeks ) and then nothing was said about him at all. even Victoria went back to normal and he is never mentioned :s

They need to bring in new lines!
Duck face, classic. Those lips are just hideous.

Max has 4 kids but Bradley came to a horrible end, think max needs a horrible end too. Jacks had children with the sisters ronnie & roxy.

Doesnt Jack have the disabled kid in France as well???
LEa :)

Cameron buried the Liverpudlian guy in the woods.

Think Kat had miscarriage?

Of course, yes!
Then there's Bianca's kids, and her brothers and sisters were all by different sires (mostly). I suppose there's some genetic diversity there, but don't these people ever get on a Tube train and go out to get laid by someone they don't know????
- By Lea Date 12.04.13 22:23 UTC
:( :( :(
What happened to the box van???
Thats both really bad storey lines, I assume both at the same time when I wasnt watching it so much (if at al) as too busy!!!
Dont tell my they will look for the Scouse and find Seths body instead!!!!
And I wasnt that far out of it, so a miscarriage is easily brushed under carpet, even for a late miscarriage!!!
Are soaps getting more and more extereme :o :o :O

Re Corrie - I'd love the characters of Steve & Lloyd to have their own spin off series. Some really funny lines at times, a great comedy pairing !.
- By jackbox Date 17.04.13 16:29 UTC
I heard on the TV the other day the corrie murder is going to drag on for a few mths, AND he is going to claim another victim,

The Emmerdale one is  getting a bit tedious too.... how long can they drag these things out..............  you get bored with the whole thing,
