I once went to a training class where the trainer used dry cat food(go cat type)as training treats. On the face of it,it seemed a good idea, small, tasty, but my present trainer said not a good idea, when I suggested it,and I cant remember why not.It would be really handy when Ive run out of liver cake!Anyone know why not?thanks!

I use it at times pam. No ill effects and considering mine especially Brooke! steal them anyway. I dont use bucket loads anyway and the dogs think they are boring after a while.
I grad anything I have in the fridge if I have runout of frozen liver cake. Salami, cheese ham I like keeping a pack of cooked cocktail sausage in the freezer useful to grab and go and soon defrosts

I keep a small (2kg) bag of Applaws for Small dogs to use with Zuma, not much bigger than cat biscuits, smelly, don't fall apart in pocket and 75% meat, no chemicals so healthier than most 'treats'
