Anyone on here got or know anything about Manchester Terriers?

Only 2nd hand, chap at my old dog club had one, he was pretty good at obedience and not nearly as 'sharp' as some of the terriers. Very nice little dog!

That is what I believe too. Thanks for the reply.

Lovely little dogs.   If I didn't have Bedlingtons,  I'd have a Manchester, very similar in size and temperament  (softer and quieter than other terriers)   and no trimming :-)

All I have met seem nice little dogs but I have formed the opinion that they lack quality in depth - that could be because of those I have met or just my perception.

Awesome little guys :-)  On my wish-list these ones, quite aside from the fact they look just like my Paige in miniature (and black!) :-P  I've not met many but I did get to snuggle a few at the Dogs Unleashed show a couple of years back, there was a rescue stand there.  Absolutely brilliant, lively personalities, bold but sweet and I spent a good 5 minutes trying to extract one from my treats pocket :-P

If I don't have them as a "staple" breed here soon (like dobes are now) then they will definitely be my retirement breed, so to speak.  But I can't imagine I'll be able to wait that long!
