Hello
My little lady is on day 62 today. I am getting nervous as she is just acting her usual self, running around, eating for England and sleeping on the sofa.
During the night she was a little restless, but today running around like a puppy. Is this normal? I am watching with baited breath for a sign that she is ready to whelp, there has been no digging in her bed, paceing the house etc. In need of some support and reassurance please.

My bitches have never done the digging thing, or the nesting, didn't even look at the whelping box, or give any indication of being about to drop. Both went for their usual walk on the day of whelping, albeit at their own pace, but still brisk (long legs ) then around 10/11 pm ran to me, then to their whelping box, jumped in and commenced second stage of labour!
I will admit to keeping them very fit right through pregnancy which I think does help :-)
The only signs I saw, were loose motion (having a clear out) and a stringy discharge for a few days beforehand. They ate well even on D-day :-)

My girl never shows the normal signs of labour. With her first litter I had just returned from the hairdressers as I was not aware that the pups were on the way. She was 2 days early. First puppy born 15 mins after my return.

Still chilling out on the sofa. Puppys look like they are doing somersaults! I noticed on Saturday that she did lose some thick plug like mucus, but nothing since.

My girl got me going from day 59, digging up the bed, not eating etc. but didn't have the first pup until 12.40am on day 63, then whelped 11 pups in 10 hours, so both shattered by the end of it.

Thank you to everyone that posted reassurance and support. We are the proud owners of 5 puppies. 2 girls and 3 boys. All arrived with no problems and feeding well with mum. Its so emotional! Can't stop staring at them! My other bitch cried little noises the whole night - just staring at her from afar. Thanks again for your help.

So pleased for you!
