Very sad topic as its about the tv program the lottery game with nick knowles. The question was naming flags with red in and the contestants said Finland which they got right! Now I thought and have looked up  the flag and it doesn't have any red, it's blue.
Am I going mad or did anyone else notice?

Oh ok, missed it when I looked on Internet then. Wikipedia didn't list it under the red section either.

I'm another sad one then , I was sure it was blue and white . Must be mistaken .

I'm Finnish, it is white background, blue cross... that is the official flag.
There is sometimes a lion in the middle with red background but that is not the official flag of the country, it was used in the past and is only allowed to be used by officials such as president, parlament etc. you are not allowed to use it lets say if you have a flagpole at home.

I have made comment to bbc! The coupld didn't win the round anyway so it made no difference but it irritated me.
