We have never had a toy litter that likes eating soaked biscuits,we try each litter but the result always seem to be the same, we use the Royal canin baby dog mouse which they all love and then once they have the hang of that we start by adding a few Royal canin mini starter biscuits without soaking them  and slowly increase the quantitiy each feed until they are on only biscuits.

Mine have never liked soaked kibble, in the end I had to feed them tiny chunks of steak or chicken to get them eating solid food. They wouldn't touch any of the starter mousse type things either. :-)

i can only go by this breed and all the resurch i did ...some have no teeth some have 1 which is normal for this breed but it is very nomal for them to leave with 2 at 8-9 weeks old so they still not be eating dry food so looks like the big bags ive got for them to take will be no good ...pups will eat nature diet but not alot iv just orderd more mouse as they love it il just keep trying different stuff to see if suits and they like :)

This is most likely one of the reasons that my breed club say they can't go until 12 weeks.  I'm fairly certain that Marianne does the same with her Paps.  Several toy breeds seem to stay until 12 weeks.

yes funny you should say that ...8-9 weeks is fine for this breed to leave BUT we are keeping for longer till i can get them to eat other then mouse as that has to be stopped at 8weeks anyway im going to try raw mince i think :)

We've weaned both our Toy litters straight onto raw minced meats, just as we do our large breed. We've had no problems.
