Can someone please direct me to where it tells you what you are allowed to display on your bench at Crufts. I know I've read it somewhere but just can't find it. Thanks.

I mean for breed showing, I know other competitors have loads of cards etc.

I didnt have a schedule but I know you are not allowed to advertise on a bench. good luck cards or suchlike are permissable but one shouldnt encroach onto someone elses bench.

I know a number of people are planning to put notices on their benches with their Kennel name and contact details. I thought there were rules about this but can't find it.

I also thought that good luck cards for breed showing were not allowed (but don't know where I got that from, it was just something I was told about 20 odd years ago)!

It's the advertising thing I'm really interested in though.

I am almost certain there was a rule sometime ago that no advertising was allowed on the benches. I have just looked online at the crufts schedule & in Birmingham schedule & cant see it anywhere. So perhaps there is no longer a rule against advertising.
Best way to know is ask on the KC stand when you get there

It used to be in with the rule about selling dogs at shows, that it is not allowed except for a card no bigger than whatever the size stated on the bench.

In the distant past there used to be 'selling classes' and also a dogs selling price could be advertised in the catalogue when entering a show.

Looks like its ok now..see page 134 on the following link http://fossedata.co.uk/downloads/pdf/CRUFT_MAR_13_Schedule.pdf

Yes I know there used to be selling class & one could also advertise a stud fee for the dog...that was back in the late 60's/early 70's!!!

I only started in the 1980's, so don't remember the selling classes. However, I did think there was something about size and what was permissible to print. I have scoured the schedule and can't find anything.
