Hi everyone,
I'm planning to get to a few more champshows with my new pup and noticed the above show 31st may-2nd June. The thing is I have to plan for public transport. And was wondering if any one had done this journey by train, could you tell me if the shuttle bus was available or or if not is it easy to get to from Newbury station.

Newbury Show Ground (if that's where Southern Counties will be this year?) is miles out of Newbury town and so not near the train or bus station.

I've never known them to provide a shuttle bus but you could try contacting the Secretary?

Or another option what about car sharing with someone?

The station isn't too far from the showground - would a cab be possible?

It's a fairly easy walk from Hermitage to the Showground, along Priors Court Road.  There are buses from Newbury to Hermitage - although these are reduced on Saturdays and don't run on Sundays - so it might depend on your timings but Newbury bus station is also fairly close to Newbury train station...

I don't think it would cost too much in a cab or, if you asked on here nearer the date, you might find someone who is passing and could give you a lift.
