Hey guys,i am taking on a 5 year old sibe in April and will be showing her. She has been shown before but i need to know the rough length of lead i will nedd for her for in the show ring? I know they are shown on a thin chain but dont know what type of lead im after.

Siberians should be gaited on a loose lead, so you need some length.  Check chains or semi slip collars are most common, there is no hard and fast, basically anything goes :-)

Really depends on what you're most comfortable with. If you attend ringcraft classes, see what types of leads other people are using and ask if they would be willing to let you try them out. Even within my breeds, I tend to use different leads with different dogs. If you have a dog that really moves out in front of you, a longer lead would be better. However, if your dog doesn't move out as much, you might save yourself the hassle of dealing with a lot of extra lead by getting a shorter one. You also have to think about material preferences, as you can get nice leads in nylon, leather, etc.
