I have been offered a pair of tickets for centre court on 1st July (2nd Monday of the tournament) through the Wimbledon ballot! First time I tried so am really pleased, but just wondered when you know where you are allocated to sit? I have paid for them but tickets don't get sent until May, thought you might know the allocation after paying but I can't see it in the email.

I seem to remember that you are told which Court you are allocated - do you know which one?   Obviously Centre Court is the Court that everyone wants (especially in Week 2!) - but you'll get to see good games in Courts 1, 2 & 3 - and you get pretty good seats in any of them!   Once in Wimbledon, you can wander around the whole place - you can see the up and coming stars in the outer courts - and watch some pretty good tennis - and you can often queue and see some good games in the other courts - and, of course, you can watch the TV screens from Helman Hill (or is it now Murray Mount?) - and eat strawberries & cream and drink Pimms whilst listening to some pretty good jazz!   Go for it, kiddo - I always do!

I've got centre court Monday of the second week so should see at least one good men's game, not so fussed on the grunting women!
