Thanks for putting these articles up on Facebook otherwise I would miss them.  Marianne's blog article is interesting.  I was so lucky with Meg - she is such a healthy dog - it was her temperament which has not been ideal.  I compare her with another collie of the same age who regularly walks past my house.  He looks and moves like an old dog compared to Meg who folk often think is still a puppy at getting on for 8 years old!  It is not all in the breeding though - or the lack of it!  The other dog is overweight - and that is something the owner has control over.  Lovely man who keeps his pockets full of treats for all the dogs he meets!
