What collars do you use for tags/walking your dogs?
I am looking for new collars for the wobbles, but I am not sure what to get. The 2 non shown ones are in Rogz (and the show girly has a rolled leather) but I don't like they are denting the coat, nor how they sit on the dogs - they never look comfy. I do however like the length of the leads, but not how they "feel" on the hands - they are as nylon-y as I can cope with.
Any recommendations?

Jewlnick and essenjay leather :) both have websites, fab stuff.
I may be being particularly dim, but not entirely sure what you're asking!
So, answering in terms of bog standard collars and leads: My BCs all wear Spiffy Collars (soft, don't damage coats, comfortable [yes, I HAVE tried them out :-D ], quick drying). For leads, well, I go back to my grass roots (moutaineering) ... the only acceptable lead for me is climbing rope :-)
You mention tags ... ID tags? If so, then on our Spiffy Dog Collars go Indigo Collar Tags ... flat, don't come off, no irritating clanking against dinner/water bowls and acceptable for agility comps!
Sorry I think I worded it badly :)
I am looking for new collars for the dogs, but not "show" ones - they are for walking on and their tags. I guess house collar is another word for them?
Off to google the brands mentioned :)

The inexpensive Braid half check collars from Dajan (I order with heavier chain in the under 14 inch).
http://www.dajan.co.uk/Braidhalfchecks.htmlI do find it easier to contact them with my order as I get confused with the sizing (is it closed or ope measurements, and from and to when adjusting) I need collars from puppy up to 14 inches when pulled tight.
I use as puppy collars for my lot before buying them a round 8mm leather non adjustable half checks when adult.
Mine wear collars and tags 24/7, and are show dogs.
As for Tags I use the heavy inprinted engraved brass ones from Pettags, the words are visbile fro as long as the oldest tag I have (probably 10 years). I want mine to jangel so attach the microchip tag also.

Currently on a half check one from pets at home, but not that impressed with it as it keeps changing size, I tighten it to the right size then one day it's too big again.
OK, just wasn't sure if a daily collar or one for the show ring :-D Spiffy, definitely a daily collar ... washes in the machine beautifully when doggies hurl themselves into mud or poo :-O
The flat tags I mentioned can be found here
http://www.indigocollartags.com/They're not the cheapest, but they are really well engraved, stainless steel and they don't come off!

I wouldn't leave collars on all day for my dogs, but for their tags Les Denman did mine. Used to be a photographer for OD but now lives in Ireland, you can still order them online off him though.

I have webbing collars for my dogs with all the contact details embroidered on them - used to have to use two tags per dog as they would come off whilst hurtling through the undergrowth before changing to the embroidered collars.
I do agility with my dogs and you can't have any dangly bits on collars whilst working them so either had to take their collars off or the ID tags. As all the shows I attend are far from home I was always concerned about them not having ID on them and so the embroidered collars were the ideal answer for my dogs.
They are easy to wash and the contact details are large enough to read easily through long hairy coats.
i have double thickness brass chained half checks from Culpeppers - not amazingly cheap, but i've had them years, so well worth the money. Same for the double thickness police training leads - not one single stitch has come loose. The collars don't leave any dents or marks on my two. If that's a concern though, maybe go for rolled leather collars?

A warning with brass chain and light coats, I made that mistake years ago and ended up with green necks.
Touch wood no probs here, although they only wear their collars when we're out and about. My yellow lab always ended up with a grey neck from zinc plated chains, hence the change to brass :)
