The sad news has been released that Richard Briers has died. The Good Life is finally over. :-(

Aw....I am really sorry to hear that! :(

I thought he was great in Ever Decreasing Circles.  RIP Richard.

I loved that programme too. Shame it's never been repeated.

What sad news, saying goodbye to another Great British actor who didn't say Ta! Ra! to these shores to seek fame and fortune elsewhere, RIP Richard

I loved all he appearred in over his long career.

So sad, he seemed a lovely guy. Loved all his funny roles and in later years, Monarch of the Glen. I saw a recent interview when he spoke about his emphysema- no self pity just acceptance of his own part in his illness- heavy smoking.  Another of our 'greats' gone. :(

RIP Richard.

I've been watching Ever Decreasing Circles on Gold recently I really liked that and The Good Life so funny and so true to life. RIP
