We have a 3 year old Toledo XT that needs a service and a good deep clean so has anybody got any recommendations on who can do both ?

Thanks
Lucy

Is it gas ?

Don't know about cleaning - have always had to do it myself :) :) :)

Dual.

It gets cleaned during the week by me and then a good clean once a week by our lovely cleaner but it does get alot of use and inside especially is a bit grotty now and the main wok burner for some reason is only about a third of the normal flame so I think it needs a deep clean :-)

Do you have other gas appliances that get serviced ? Maybe you could get it done when they are serviced. Otherwise Rangemaster may have recommended agents.

My Rangemaster is all electric (ceramic hob - we haven't got gas anyway) - one of the best bits is it's easy to clean :) :)

I've always used Ovenu to clean my Rangemaster. They do a very good job. I've yet to find someone to service it so I will watch this post with interest.

I note they don't put any prices on their website - must mean it is expensive ?? :) :)

I think I paid around £70 this year - its a gas range with double oven so there is a fair bit to clean. They've been cleaning it for the past 10 years for me & it takes them a couple of hours or so but they do a good job

That sounds very reasonable thanks for the name.

I always used Ovenu when I was in England (had a pre Christmas clean every year) and they were great. They do use very strong chemicals though so keep the dogs well out of the way and make sure the kitchen is well ventilated during and immediately after the clean.

I have just phoned them and have been quoted £130 they said as well it would take then 4 hours ?

I'm sure I didn't pay that much (I maybe wrong) but will see if I can find the cheque stub. I know they always say my Rangemaster isn't very dirty (always looks digusting to me) maybe thats why it doesn't take very long but he never seems to be here for longer than a couple of hours or so. I have Rangemaster 110 which I have cleaned yearly. Maybe I'm just getting too old to remember these things clearly!

Great thanks as I do think 4 hours is a bit excessive !

Think Ovenu is a franchise so what takes one person 2 hours may well take another 4 - would take me a couple of days :-)

Found the stubb & I paid £79. Maybe mine was cheaper as it didn't need much cleaning as I don't use it that much.

I don't think that he is very good then as why would I want to pay double the amount for something somebody else takes two hours to do the same good job ?

We are not over users and it does get a good clean one as week as I have said and it is only three years old as well so doesn't have years of built up grease.

I will do some more research to see if I can find another local firm and compared the prices.
