Does a dog coming 1st,2nd or 3rd in an AVNSC group in a championship show qualify for crufts or does it have to be in a breed class? I cannot remember. Also can an animal coming 1st - 3rd in minor puppy qualify for crufts?

Approx 10 years ago when my breed didnt have classes at LKA, we entered AVNSC group with a brother & sister & they were placed 1st(in respective sex) & that qualified.

AVNSC will qualify as long as it's a rare breed i.e. they don't get CCs at any show.

Minor Puppy is a qualifying class so 1st-3rd will qualify assuming that either CCs are available at that show, or that it is a rare breed.

Thankyou for the responses, yes she is a rare breed and does not have her own breed classes at the show.
So she will be in AVNSC.
