is it better to have your dog sleep in a dog bed or jump on the bed?

whether its better or not I must admit my sbt pup sleeps on the bed
I would say there is no right or wrong it is whatever you and your dog feel happy about

I feel it is down to preference, size of own bed, etc, and also the relationship you have with the dog. I have had dogs on the bed in the past due to lack of space for dog bed and the fact that i rented out parts of myhouse and wanted my dogs safe with me.

It's important that the dog is generally well behaved and so doesn't get bolshy about you sharing "his" bed ;)

I think its down to personal preference but I don't allow any of my dogs on the bed or upstairs or even on the furniture for that.
I love my dogs with a passion and my husband always says I spoil them but I prefer them to be treated like dogs not little people and I think that keeping them on the floor stops any confusion about where they come in the pack.
I know many people will disagree but it has always worked for me.
