Vino is now 7 weeks into her pregnancy and is as fit as a flea, eating well, growing a puppy tummy and full of beans. She has lost a clear discharge right the way through from about 3 weeks. She is a very fluffy girl with lots of thick furnishings on her legs making pretty woolly knickers !! I have been grooming her daily and her tummy fur is starting to come out in handfulls. All fine. However I have had many litters before and never had so much clear lubricant discharge before. I find I am rinsing her knickers at least once sometimes twice a day to keep them clean as she is loosing a fair amount of this gluey discharge. It is clear and like a slimey lubricant. Just wondering is anyone else has ever had so much. Vet is not allarmed as it is clear and does not smell. Maybe because she is so well furnished I am noticing it more as it clings to her coat. I have just started to feel movement though with such a big girl and so much coat it is a job to feel anything ! You could hide a couple of double decker busses in her ribs !
I would be interested to know if anyone has had the same.

My girl is also 7 weeks in and has been exactly the same, started with it at 3 weeks and just hasn't let up, my vet has said the same thing yours has but I have never had a bitch with this amount of discharge, Bea has alot of furnishings too, I guess we are bound to notice it more. Although it's clear and there is no smell it doesn't stop me being slightly paranoid!

One of my Papillons had a lot as well, I ended up trimming her fur off as it was just getting too messy and tangled.
