Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Might have a spare car park pass for Crufts....
- By LucyDogs [gb] Date 22.01.13 15:33 UTC
I'm not completely certain yet, but I suspect that as I booked a car park pass online with Fosse Data before realising that the drop off pass through the KC included a car park pass too, I will end up with an extra one. If that happens, someone else is very welcome to the spare pass!

If it's going spare ... :)

I'll let you know for sure once we get all our passes. Oh, it'll be for the Friday, if they come day-specific! :-)

Thank you :)

If ridgielover doesn't want Friday, please can I be reserve??  :-)

No problem. :-)

I've ordered a car park pass too... does that mean I shouldn't have? Am confused because didn't read anywhere that parking was included in the entry price. My daughter & SIL will be travelling separately so won't be wasted.

So when you enter a dog at Crufts, you are issued with a parking permit?

I'm not entered this year, but it's never been the case before; the car parks at the NEC are independent of the exhibitions and charge separately.

No, it's separate. I ordered a car park pass online with my Fosse Data entry, but it was when I then ordered the drop off pass separately from the KC that I realised that the drop off price includes a car park pass too!

Lucy, was wondering what the drop off pass is for? Presume you can get nearer to the halls to drop everything off? Sorry I need to ask as I've only been a spectator before, this is my first time with a dog.
Thanks

That's exactly it, if you have a spare person as well, with a drop off pass you can park right outside the entrance, unload the dog and crate and leave your friend to take them in and find the benching while you drive miles away to the car park, then fight your way back to the NEC. Much easier if you have a coated breed! :-)
