Is there a way (on line) of checking if puppy buyers have transferred ownership of their puppies from the breeder to themselves?

If you are the breeder the pups name is no longer included in the list of dogs registered to you.

It should be in your online membership/registration info, I can't remember the route to get there

Sign in as if you were going to register a litter and it will give you a list of all the dogs still registered to you

According to that list they have me as still owning 49 dogs, of which 3 of my own and those of others have died, and my current litter of 6.

I find up to half of puppy owners never transfer the pups to their name.  it does make me wonder how many similarly never change their contact details for chip or tattoo.

As an ABS member I am also curious to know how many ever send in feedback forms.

I#ve always said that we should be able to put the date of death on there.  A number of my dogs are no longer alive and are still showing dogs who would now be in their 20's!  I think this wuold be of great help to show that many pedigree dogs do have a long lifespan.
