Cold but dry. Icey on side / country road but main roads ok. Patches of freezing fog along the motorway.

Just looking at the weather forecasts and all sites are saying that Manchester is expecting heavy snowfall on Friday which we never really get.  How is it looking now for Stafford?

Still bitterly cold, had a slight flurry of snow but nothing worth mentioning.

Has your local TV given any snow for the next couple of days?

If you are coming from the North I suspect getting up Weston Bank will be a challenge as that is notorious for being bad. It is about 3 or 4 miles from the Show Ground.

That was where I lived as a whipper snapper and we used to go sledging in the fields to the left of the road and it was a hairy decent !

Coming from the South I would suspect if they keep the gritters out from the motorway junction through Stafford and out should be ok but all depends on how much snow and how fast it comes down.
