What do folk think of these exercise aids and would some be damaging if used too young?

Oh I really like that! (Didn't hurt that there were BOTH Malinois an Papillons in the video, LOL.) Forget about being fit, I would say these products would be very useful to help a dog gain confidence -absolutely IDEAL to start a litter of pups on. As it is now most of us I'm sure simply use things like cardboard boxes and similar for pups to climb and walk over to get used to moving and different surfaces, these seem much better.

They have been used by agility folk for a long time. Camdwrr canine supply them.

Thats a bargain if it works, how big is it?

it says  100cm x50cm load capacity 120kg. on cmdwr canine they range from £50-£100 so its a real Bargain.

Just bought mine before Christmas.  Trouble is Meg thinks they are another chew toy - there are videos out there on how to use them but I am having problems getting her to start off.  We are getting a paw touch - even 2 paws on one.  Then she dives in and starts mouthing it - It was suggested that I start with putting them in a box - because she can stand in a box - but she just put her paws on them and lays on top looking very pleased with her self.   A smaller box perhaps!   I am clicking and treating when I get a paw touch but shaping the behaviour is very difficult when she does paw followed closely by mouth!  Will persevere because they were expensive.   There were some cheaper versions on Amazon also apparently there are peanut balls on sale in Lidl at the moment - also for balance etc.   It doesn't say anything about age on the instruction sheet but it does say to use common sense and never over exercise or over tire your dog.

My GSD boy just would not do the seesaw in agility. No way...bull headed, stubborn, having none of it.  Went to an agility workshop, and using a variety of equipment, and specifically, the wobble boards, it gave him the confidence to finally accomplish the see saw. He went on to compete over manyyears and did very well, being well placed too!  He has only just recently retired from competition. As someone said, agility folk have used similar equipment for a long time. It is amazing how much confidence it gives them.
