why would a dog who has always had completely black nails suddenly have one go white? I just noticed today that one of the nails on my 8 year old bitch is now white. I did not notice it changing so don't know if  it just turned white or if it grew through from the nail bed. All her others are still completely black. She hasn't had any damage to that nail and has no white on the foot.
