Topic Dog Boards / General / Can anyone reocmmend a company selling kennels?

My stepson has literally just this minute announced that he is moving out -tomorrow. (He was MEANT to stay here for another 2 years.) We had always known the day would come eventually, and had said that when it happens, we will have to buy kennels for the dogs so we can leave them safely when we go to shows -can't exactly leave everyone indoors without the ability to go to toilet for a full show day, and we usually only take 2 or 3 dogs to each show, so plenty left at home. Hence I now need kennels ASAP indeed! I'm looking for a row of kennels, don't need run as I already have kennel panels, but I need a row of 4 or 5 so I can split the dogs up as much as possible when we are out -don't want to risk any possibility of a fight breaking out so want to split them dog/bitch to avoid that risk entirely. I need something decently priced but obviously not something that will fall to bits quickly either. Have already spent weeks searching the net but it's a minefield, so would really like to get some personal recommendations.  We're on the borders of Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire if that's any help. Be really grateful to hear of experiences of various companies.

I don't have any recent experience of kennel companies Marianne but have you tried your local shed builders? A friend recently took on a rescue kennel dog at short notice and after phoning round kennel companies and being told it would be 6 to 8 weeks she went to the local garden centre/ shed builders. It's a quiet time of year for them, the guy came out that day to take measurement and had her custom built kennel and run made, delivered and erected in 2 days. Not a bad price either and really sturdy looking.

I can't exactly recommend these as haven't used them, but happened to remember a link from something else. The prices struck me as reasonable, but that depends on your budget.
