Is this the one everyone uses for nail filing on dogs?
I purchased the dog version which does the job but very slowly.

My girl will allow her nails to be clipped one at a time when she doesn't know it's happening; which is even more time consuming.. She gets in such a state when seeing the clippers near her nails, I'd rather not keep attempting this...

Three out of my four object to having their nails trimmed. I use a Draper equivalent to the Dremel. Very effective, especially because if and when they've had enough of the Dremel I find they are quite relaxed about the clippers!

I think the numbers after the Dremmel applies to the amount of fittings that can be applied???

Mine is a Dremmel 300 & is a mains powered one....I would not hesitate to recommend one & wish I had bought one many years ago. It saves so much hassle & once your used to it(& the dogs..who adapted amazingly quickly), the speed in which the nails are done, takes the chore out of the job in hand...

The only Dremel I can find in the main hardware stores and Argos is this one and at £50 almost it's a lot of money. I wouldn't mind less attachments, so will hunt for others.
Thanks

I have been using this one for the last 12 years - it has different speeds, but I use the lowest speed ;-

My OH shares it and finds it most useful around the house :-)

I bought it as my bro was using one to trim his Weims' nails withngreat success :-)

I have googled to see pics & it looks like the 3000 is a newer version & perhaps a shade bigger than mine.
I would get that one if you can. I bought mine about 4 years ago in Homebase & it was just under £80.

The Draper was slightly cheaper (I think I paid just under £40 but could have got it for less shopping around). It has a lot of attachments, far more than I would ever need, and it gets frequent use with four dogs so the investment was well worth it. Certainly cheaper than all the money I spent on various nail clippers and no trauma nicking anyone :-(
