Some of you will remember that a while ago I posted asking for advice about a 2nd dog.after much searching and a few false starts we have today been and met a dog and it was love at first site =) a 1 year old male lurcher.
Saw him advertised on a local charity website, rang up for info and was told he had no background info as brought down from wales,so was very much have a look and see.went to see him today along with our (nearly) 2 year old daughter and he was amazing. Took him for a little walk and he was great on lead, then spent time in a room with him and he was just super.very very good with my little girl, accepted her kissing him, played with a toy and let us all take it away from him and was very pleased with the treats we took for him :D I didnt want to get my hopes up incase him and our daughter didnt get on but it was love at first sight for us all!! He has been put on reserve and weve been given a 24 hour cooling off period but I have no need, cant wait for him and freddie to meet and hopefully hit it off so we can bring him home with us. Am so so thrilled and just want to shout from the rooftops.I know we arent there yet but I'm feeling really positive that he will soon be ours xxx

.ive never been a fan of new year and like it even less now as the centre is closed for 2 days which means I have to wait until wednesday to take fred out to meet him. Hey ho, good things come to those who wait I suppose ;)
