there been alot of post on flatcoated retrievers just lately, what the big thing about this breed,i know there not been many litter born over the last year, and when there has been, some bitch have not had many in the litter 1 to 4 where the avage is 8 to 10,but in jo case 12,some breeder have had problem with health and losing some or all the litter like my self 9 puppie went down to 3 from kennel cough, other's fading puppie sydome.and so on,bitch not getting in whelp,it all could be down to the enviorment and weather,
so hope 2003 is better for f/c

Hi Terri

I don't think many people realise the work (and, as you know only too well) the heartbreak that can be involved in rearing a large litter of flatcoat pups.
I think they just see little cuddley bundles that came by magic!!

Loved your little one, by the way!!!
