I have been watching videos of Rhuari over and over especially the one on my website of him puppy sitting, it shows his soft soppy side, he would let pups get away with much more than their mother would and even when he did growl at them they ignored him and jumped all over his head, Lexis continued to do this as a form of greeting and also when you asked her "where is Uncle Rhuari".

All 3 dachsies are in bed with me, normally there is only one and the others sleep together in a pile but they want to be close to me.

So sorry, RIP little man.

It has been an awful few days, I decided against the PM, it wasn't going to bring him back and he has no offspring that may suffer from some congenital disease he may have passed on to them.

I am waiting for his ashes to be returned.

Thanks I am still numb, went out to the shops briefly through necessity but came home quickly to be with the other dachsies.

Aw hun, I know, over the years we think we will get better at this and be stronger each time, but..... we all fail miserably, it's so hard to lose our loyal friends, we love them so much. {{{hug}}}
