we put our boy with our girl this morning only usesing him to whats happening me and hubby there and hubby holding onto his collar he is a large breed 38kg she is toy breed 5kg ...ok this is what happend he sniffs at her she gets very excited and flags and stands for him but not for long then she starts sniffing him by this time hes got his nose in her wee and hes foaming at the mouth ...would you go today or wait 1 more day??? ....im abit confused cus he only foams at the mouth when a bitch is ready and hes doing his job!! our little girl loves him and maybe shes being a tart? LoL but it didnt look like he wanted to mate if this makes any sence .....would he not even try even tho shes so small ??? x

I agree, you might as well pop down there to see if all the signs are right. Also doesn't seem entirely fair on your poor boy, I know Henry would have gone mental! :-)

We are here and shes acting different iv had to come away incase she does allow now in gone im a dag of nerves god nos why... Maybe cus shes so little and i love her so much my hubby and daughter are there ...i feel bloody stupid now lol

Not at all, I've heard quite a few stud dog owners send the bitch owners out of the room if they think they might upset them with their nerves - you're not alone! :-)

You are trying to mate a 38kg male to a 5kg toy breed?? Is that even physically possible? If by some chance it is and she did get pregnant the puppies will be far too big for her to carry/deliver. The puppies would be too large for her hips. This could result in both the puppies and mum dying in the process. Have you discussed this mating with any experienced breeders?

EDITED TO ADD: Oh hang on, were you only using your large breed to 'test' if she is on heat or not? That makes more sense. This doesn't seem very fair on your boy to tease him like this though.

well i understand you thinking that but i was told by many good breeders to do it ...hes ok with his spayed girls :) glad i took her now she had a 15min tie and not a sound can out her mouth we will take her back in 2days she is on day 7 so she is early x

It doesn't bear thinking about. He's bad enough when he serenades the girls who are in season but out of sight (But obviously not out of smell range ) lol

no bless him but he still has to pee in the same place she does and thats what made him start foaming at the mouth he never tried to get on her or even look at her to be fare....hes going to be ok im sure ...hes hasnt made no noise so he must of got over it lol x

With her standing that early I would keep taking her back every other day until she stops standing/stud looses interest, as some bitches are just tarts and she may not be hormonally ready. 

Most bitches will stand for about 5 days or so if mated at the first compliant day.

yes iv said this to hubby and stud owner has said we can go untill she/he decides no more :) x
