I have a bitch aged seven she had a litter 4 years ago but has now missed twice, last year and again this year, I really want to try again, but I worked out if she did get pregnant she would be just over 8 when she whelped, my question is has anyone got permission from the KC to allow puppies to be registered and how would I go about it.

I've just printed out the forms and it explains everything, so no need to reply Goldmali thank you again.

No probs, good luck. Never done it myself but know somebody who did get permission.

I also put the different things that my bitches pups had achieved in their lifetime, their health test results etc. added photo's of them doing agility, gundog training, showing etc. etc.

Reading the info sheet it does say not to send in the form until the bitch comes into season, she's usually mated 12/13th day, it does seem very late, surely you would want it all sorted before she came into season?

I would ring the KC and explain that you would need to be keeping a stud owner informed and feel that leaving it that late would be messing folk about, if you do bloods and suddenly she is ready day 8 then there isn't going to be time to get a decision in writing from the KC, see what they say.
