Hi My 2 year old girl was mated 11 days ago now shes losing a small amount of creamy/slightly yellow discharge
I had her to the vet who gave her Synolux ABs in case it was an infection she doesnt have a temperature and the discharge isnt smelly what are the chances shes in whelp
Thanks
I have had this and had antibiotics and gone onto have a successful litter in fact on more than one occassion. I always worry about it though but my vet seems quite relaxed about it because if I remember he always says that any potential puppies are safe in the womb and not at risk from the AB's. That is from memory mind you because I expect if it happens again I'll worry all over again.

If it wasn't smelly, and she was my bitch, I would have taken it as proof that she's pregnant. However, Synulox is safe for pregnant bitches.
My bitch had this on day 14 only for a day and it was pale cream/slight light greenish in colour, almost like snot colour, no smell. As she didnt have this with a previous litter I was straight to the vet who gave her a course of Synulox. I've since heard of quite a few bitches having this and most have been in whelp!! Anyway my bitch went on to have 8 healthy puppies now almost 6 weeks and driving me batty ;-)
You've done everything you can to cover her just in case. Good luck x

Thank you for the replies.I feel a lot better about it now
I will post on here when i have results of scan in about 10 days
Thanks again
I know it's a bit late but our current pregnant girl had a little of this at about the same time, never had/noticed it before and scared me silly. Vet gave ab's but said he thought it was overproduction of the plug mucous...it's about this time that it is formed if she is pregnant. I never saw it again, just that one day.
Day 51 and mum doing very well with babies moving very nicely, she's almost surgically attached to my legs lol. Not quite sure if she wants to be near me or just hoping for extra food when I'm in the kitchen :)
Have you had the scan yet, unsure what date you posted this? If so how many pups did they see??
