One year old this month (no longer a Puppy!) and to celebrate I have done a wee bit of tweaking.... ;)

The quiz is Private - as it always has been - meaning that no-one else using the quiz host can find us, and would need to get the link for the forum from CD. But I've added an extra little measure... new members that want to join will need a secret password which they can only get from me, via PM on here. [If you have a trusted friend who wants to join, you're welcome to pass it on to them].

I've also tweaked the daily subjects and changed them - I bet some of you will groan, but if it seems any of the new ones are causing annoyance, I can change back!

There is also a very new selection of questions for Monday - The World of Dogs - be prepared for some strange answers as the question pool is US based (no purely UK ones, I'm afraid) but as we are such clever & brainy dog folk, I don't think we'll have too much trouble.... ;)

I thought I knew a lot about dogs!!! Obviously not too hot on ghostly ones or American ones.
Sure we'll learn about them soon enough.

I expect Strum or Valhalla will win as usual, it's quite disheartening actually, even when I get 10/10 in 30 seconds they are always faster!

I always do it on my iPhone so that is why I am always so slow ( doesn't answer why I get really bad marks though ! )

We will have to keep battling Vanessa I am afraid - she is one of our stalwarts of CD!  However Strum hasn't appeared on here as far as I know - not sure what his connection is - perhaps he will come forward now and tell us?   He has given clues on the quiz 'shout out' section - so yes I do know who you are - but still don't know how you get to read the questions so quickly.  I know some people have that skill to think very fast but can't see why if he has this skill he delights in beating us so often :-(  It must get quite boring after a while.  As you say LucyDogs - very disheartening.

I remember when you used to win almost everyday :-) Why should someone not do their best? I may temporarily be in the lead but I never win, I don't play it often enough to know the answers without carefully reading the entire questions, which takes too long :-)

Yes and I left off doing it for a while because I was very self conscious of winning - now I don't do so well - so the questions must be harder.  However I am aware that by doing the 2 old quizes some of the same questions come up again and again - so one gets familiar with them.  The other 2 quizzes are on automatic so the same categories come up again and again.  It doesn't hurt to have a change of category now and then like today - then we all have to read carefully and start on and even footing.

I'm the same!! Despite having played from 2005 to about 2009 and been a past administrator... I've never broken the 50 secs barrier :-(

The Dog questions today were horrible weren't they!!!! I had no idea what they would be like when I changed it. I guess we can give them a trial run for a few weeks, unless I get a flood of complaints!

No reason at all, I think it's very impressive. It's just annoying too! :-D
