Has anyone used Pats ovulation testing, know that many of you use her for scanning

I used her on my bitch who ovulated late in her season and Pat was bang on with her info. Used her to scan my bitch a month later too :) Definately would use her again.

What does she use to ovulation test, in house premate kit (colour chart results, accurtate enough fro natural service), or does she have access to lab to get the numbers on a blood sample.

Barbara she does a vaginal swab to check for ferning crystals I think it is. Does a quick swab and looks at it on a slide under microscope. She tells you the results within a few mins :)

I thought the "ferning crystals" were from saliva testing or do vaginal secretions do the same thing?

:-).  Thanks all.  I will be idexx blood testing too but have been "caught out" in the past as it takes 24 hours to get results back and my girls always seem "ready" over a weekend!  So fancied running something else alongside the bloods.  I've heard very good things about Pat but hadn't heard much about the ovulation testing hence the post.  Any other experiences or comments would be very welcome?

A few of my friends have used her too with good success. You wont go far wrong if you go to Pat :)
